Welcome and Thank You for taking time from your life to stop by.
If you’re like most of my readers, you’re a successful, driven, high-achieving woman. You go and go and try to get it all done. You make every effort to also do it perfectly. Chances are good, you have a tendency to burn yourself out, but still – you keep on going.
You’re committed to everything – succeeding at work and life, creating a perfect home life, doing for others, giving back and always doing it with a smile on your face and telling others that you’re FINE!
Until you’re not and then it’s time to do something about your life! Overwhelm sets in and then your life feels out of control.
The chatter in your brain gets louder and louder and pretty soon, you’re doubting yourself.
Say HELLO to FEAR!
Fear is the robber of dreams and the stealer of your life and FEAR wears many different disguises. Fear also knows you well and it takes advantage.
No one escapes FEAR – no one.
Do you feel like life is moving faster than you can keep up with it?
Do you feel pulled in a million different directions?
Do you worry about the future?
Do you question whether you’ll ever live the life you’ve dreamed of?
Do life’s big and small obstacles hold you back?
Do you feel overwhelmed?
Do you avoid thinking about your life in order to avoid the truth?
If you answered YES – take comfort because you’re not alone.
For most of my life, I was in the grips of FEAR and everything I did was because fear was in the driver’s seat. Oh, I showed up in all my delusional perfection and I needed to control just about everything. It was exhausting. You can read more of my story here.
I fell down the Rabbit Hole in 2007 and I was a complete and total MESS! I had sacrificed my health, some relationships, and my life was spinning out of control. It’s scary in the Rabbit Hole, but slowly I clawed my way out – one baby step at a time. I reevaluated everything and today…
I’m a recovering Perfectionist and Control Freak. I will always be in recovery, but I like the word recovery. It keeps me on my toes.
I’ve changed my priorities and I do everything I can to live like this is my last day. I have a relationship with God (and I schedule time to talk to Him). I care for my health and well being. I nurture my family and my friendships and I strive to do the next right thing. I’m human so I’m not always successful. I screw up often, but I keep striving.
I work hard, but I’ve slowed down and I’m going to lead you to that place where courage and bravery live…where you’ll design a life that has balance and one that lights you up from the inside out. It’s a tall order but you can get there.
It all begins with managing this ugly thing called FEAR. You won’t escape it. It’s part of the human process, but you can learn to manage it.
My Goal in Writing the Blog
My mission is to give you the tools and resources necessary to help you live courageously, maintain balance and design a life worth talking about. It begins with learning to manage FEAR. Once you’ve mastered the process, your professional and personal life will SOAR!
I will empower you to be all that you can be.
