When was the last time you thought about how YOU are the only YOU in the entire world. There is no one else exactly like you…NO ONE!
The chance of you being born when you think about it, is staggering.
And yet…we continue to plow through life without the slightest consideration that You and I are magical, miraculous beings. If you really think abut this and begin to wrap your head around this fact, you might see your life through a different lens.
If you truly embraced the miracle of you, comparisonitis would be a mere memory. You wouldn’t need to compare yourself to anyone else, because you would be enough in your own mind.
If you truly embraced the miracle of you, you would be step into your greatness and leave your past stuff where it belongs – in the past.
If you truly embraced the miracle of you, you would spend less time worrying about what you don’t know how to do and more time doing what you love and are passionate about.
If you truly embraced the miracle of you, you would be see the world through a new lens.
But sadly…we tend to go through our lives never giving the miracle of you much thought at all.
Designing a life worth talking about requires a deeper understanding of who you truly are…what drives you and excites you…where your gifts live…and making big decisions to honor YOU in new ways.
Here’s something I teach in my women’s retreats and also my private clients and you can implement this beginning right now.
Every day – several times a day – stop whatever it is that you’re doing and do the following. Extend your hand in front of you – Your thumb should be facing upwards – now with a big deliberate motion – flip your wrist so your thumb is now facing you and say these words…
“There is NO ONE else in the world exactly like me. The world needs me and the unique gifts I bring to the table. Living life is not easy or without pain…but because there is no else like me I’m going to honor the magic and miracle of that.”
Then simply acknowledge and get on with it. In one simple moment, your thumb can change your day and be a constant reminder of the wonder of you!
Now go celebrate YOU!
